Chassagne-Montrachet Morgeot Clos Pitois 1er Cru
Clos Pitois is the estate’s monopole in Chassagne-Montrachet, established by monks in 1421 and planted with both Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The red version, from stony clay-limestone soils, ages for a year in French oak, with 40% new barrels according to the sheet, showing red and dark fruit and a finely spicy palate.
