Beaune Premier Cru
Les Avaux lies in a hollow within a Beaune slope, over deep clay-limestone subsoil; Bouchard first acquired vines here in 1791. This Pinot Noir is hand-picked and sorted, then aged for 16–18 months in French oak, giving a fleshy palate supported by fine tannins.
